General Overview
The Model 2444 is a rugged, industrial quality portable air velocity meter for a wide variety of velocity measurement applications in pipes and ducts. It uses the well- respected Kurz FD Fast-Dual MetalClad sensor and can be used at temperatures to 200°C. It is extraordinarily flexible as it can be extended in the field to accommodate both large and small ducts. The Model 2444 sensor support consists of the sensor section which has the FD all-welded Alloy C-276 sensor, and one or more 16" long, 3/4" diameter tube sections that can be screwed together to obtain a total length of 64.5" using three sensor support extension sections. The temperature rating is MT (-40°C to +200°C). The Model 2444 represents the state-of-the-art in Portable Air Velocity Instrumentation for industrial applications.
