Isokinetic Samplings Systems
Custom
by any measure, IsoKinetic sampling systems combine high accuracy
mass flow measurement in the process with effective sampling nozzles
and fine control and measurement of the sampling rate, so that you
can be assured that your constituent reporting is correct and accurate.
Widely used at Department of Energy (DOE) Nuclear, and Defense facilities,
IsoKinetic sampling assures that you collect a truly representative
sample of the gas/emission.
A complete Kurz Sampling System usually includes
the following Kurz components:
- One or more Multi-Point Series 220 Sampling
Rakes each having single or dual independent sample rakes.
- Series 220 MJ Sample Manifold Junctions.
- K-BAR 2000B Multi-Point Insertion Mass Flow
Element(s) for measuring the duct/stack average velocity and flow
rate.
- Series 534FTB In-Line Mass Flow Elements
for measuring the sample flow rates.
- Series 730 Mass Flow Control Valves for sample
flow rate control.
- Series 155 Mass Flow Computer which provides
the power, signal conditioning and automatic isokinetic constant
sample flow control or manual control of single or dual sample
flows, and operates all of the flow elements and control valves.
The user may set up constant flow control, isokinetic flow control,
sub-isokinetic flow control or manual flow control.
- Enclosures, Manifold Junctions, Vacuum Pump
Systems, mounting hardware, particle loss calculations, and all
parts needed for a complete system.
